“Not only is Dave a great friend but he is an excellent DJ and MC! After seeing him perform at a local spot right here in Durham we asked if he would be willing to MC our wedding and we were thrilled that he agreed - his taste in music and mixing skills are top notch and we were beyond impressed. His expert skills and planning were evident from the start and I can say without a doubt that without his help we would not have been able to pull off the wedding we had dreamed of. “Dave was the absolute best, and we can't recommend him highly enough. He created the most fun, celebratory energy. Throughout the entire night, the dance floor was totally full and it was such a joy to see all of our friends and family dancing together and having such a great time. “Dave was the best wedding DJ we could have ever imagined. Music is really important to us and was a priority at our wedding, so our DJ was one the first vendors we selected. After being introduced to Dave, we didn’t consider any one else. Dave is incredibly talented, and seeing him play in Philly, we knew he was the one to make our dream wedding a reality. He was thoughtful, professional, and enjoyable to work with every step of the way. He asked about our musical preferences and and created a playlist to perfectly reflect our taste while still feeling and reacting to the room to create the best possible dance party. “When we look back at our wedding and the best parts of the weekend, Dave made so many of those moments possible. We got married at a family home where we were without any AV equipment, wiring, microphones, etc. Dave not only rented the perfect equipment and provided it, he visited first to see that he had all the supplies and materials needed. He set-up and wired our ceremony space, our ceremony musicians, and ensured our reception was set-up for speeches and toasts as well as an amazing dance party. Without Dave’s work to set up all of the wiring and securing, delivering and installing all the rented equipment, we would not have had the beautiful ceremony music, no one would have heard or vows or the meaningful toasts, and we would have gone without one of the very best dance parties of all time. Dave received our list of song requests and definite do-not-play songs without any judgment, and offered thoughtful suggestions and additions. He read the party really well, making changes and adjustments to his plans to keep the dancing going non-stop. He looked to us for ultimate approval or veto of any song requests. He played later than he planned at our heartfelt request, and he returned bright and early the next day to clean up all the equipment and return our rentals. I would recommend Dave to any couple looking for an incredible DJ who is the whole package—he can and will do it all so that your wedding day goes without a hitch. We are so grateful to have had Dave at our wedding! Having him as our DJ was one of the best decisions we could have made. Thank you, Dave!”
“He didn’t disappoint and had everyone, young and old, on the dance floor. He also wasn’t a cheesy MC, as we’ve seen with other DJs. He was polite and well- spoken and offered agreeable suggestions. He honored my requests. All of the music fit the mood perfectly, had everyone dancing and I didn’t hear any of the songs I put on the no-play list. We also asked him edit some songs for us for time during things like first dance, parents dance, and intro, which he did. He was responsive and I appreciated being able to sit down with him to go over the set list. He was extremely knowledgeable with the music we asked him to play as well as other classic wedding songs. We told him we wanted a mix of current songs and standard wedding fare to make older guests more comfortable and got that just that. He was a great DJ.”
“As a wedding DJ myself, I wanted the music at my wedding to be perfect. And Dave did not disappoint. He worked with us to play all of the songs we wanted to hear, and he blended them seamlessly throughout the night. He knows a wide range of music that spans many decades, so my relatives and friends were all equally happy with the music. There are many great photos of our wedding, but our favorite photos are of all of our friends screaming the words to “Hotline Bling” into real and imaginary cell phones, and I have DJ Eagle to thank for that.”
